Vladimir Beljanski is attorney at law since 1999. He is engaged in legal practice in the territory of Vojvodina and Belgrade with the seat of Law Office in Novi Sad. Vladimir Beljanski was a member of Governing Board of the Bar Association of Vojvodina from the year 2007 to 2014, and since 2014 he is a member of the Governing Board of the Bar Association of Serbia. An important part of his professional engagement has been focused on the defense in criminal proceedings, mainly regarding white-collar crime. Also, he was a defense counsel in the proceedings for war crimes, organized crime and other most serious criminal offenses. Vladimir Beljanski represents a number of business companies, public enterprises as well as individuals.
Vladimir Beljanski is a lecturer at the Academy of the Bar Association of Serbia and in last 10 years he was engaged as a lecturer at numerous seminars, counseling and conferences in the field of criminal law and human rights. He was counsel in the first adjudicated case against Serbia before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. He completed specialized training in humanitarian law organized by Bar Association of Sweden, International Bar Association, ICTY, Ministry of Justice and the Fund for Humanitarian Law, as well as specialized training in the field of media law at the University of Oxford.
He is the president of the Bar Association of Vojvodina from 2017.
